The Beginning of the End

Formerly ESPN.

I wouldn't say I'm stealing cable. I moved into my apartment and the signal was active. I came home this evening and noticed that 30% of my channels are gone. The landlord hinted that he has something rigged up, but I'm not entirely sure he did. A few months ago one of the channels displayed a message that told me that my "old box" wasn't going to be out of commission "soon." My neighbor confirmed that the signal will indeed be converted. All the channels could disappear in a few days. The last time I tried to live without cable, I subscribed two weeks later. Despite the fact that I was home and awake only a few hours a day, I needed more than four channels. If cable disappears, I bet I can last more than two weeks...
