Look closely. Yeah, that is Milwaukee Bucks 27-year old veteran Tim Thomas dunking the ball...and you're looking at last night's front page of the NBA section on CNNSI.COM. Somebody noticed the bucks. Before the season, the fine folks at the commissioner office decided that the networks should just televise the same six teams ad nauseaum. Non suprisingly, they left the Bucks out of all nationally televised games. Therefore no one around the country is going to see this team until the playoffs. No one is going to notice that this small market team is one of the best in the East. They won't notice that these guys actually play unselfish team basketball. It's sad that exposure is based on star power and the size of the market. This season, a team is playing pro basketball the way it should be played. Sadly, no one will notice.
Oh yeah, 'et the weekly features begin. For as long as I can keep consistent, every second and fourth Tuesday of the month will have something sports related. "Why sports? Why today?" you ask? Well, the Bucks did something cool and someone outside of Milwaukee and this apartment noticed. If I'm going to write something about it, we may as well put it on the schedule.
So much snow...haven't seen the sun since Saturday...Winter blaahhhhhh.
