This Theory book is the gift that keeps on giving. I give you:
Sausage Machine - Syntactic parser which assumes that in analyzing utterances for comprehension, people divide sentences into parcels roughly six words long, and hypothesize the structure of that segment before moving on to the next 'sausage'.
Translation: When you read or listen to someone speak, you break down sentences into six word sections. Then you analyze the first six words before breaking down the next six. Think about this one....I actually think I tune out somebody or get an impression of what someone is saying in about six words...
In childhood, one of my heroes was Paul Molitor. The guy was always producing, yet nobody really noticed at the time. Coke habit notwithstanding, he's a bona-fied hall of famer. Good job, Molly...Brewers fans get to smile for a few minutes.
