"Fool around for a while before you get married, okay?"
This advice was bestowed upon me by which of the following people?:
a) Nick V.
b) Disgruntled married Co-worker
c) Miller Bradley
d) My father
e) One of my brothers
f) My boss
g) Fortune Cookie
If you answered: D, you were correct. While I'm not sure why he tells me this, its a pretty awesome and funny thing to hear out of my dad's mouth. I would expect that kind of advice from pretty much anybody. Since it was my dad of all people, it is certified hilarious. Amid the shock and chuckles at this remark, the following rhetorical questions popped into my mind: Is this a case where a father wants his childern to experience certain things that he did not get to enjoy at the same age? Is this a case where my dad wants me to keep turning the machine until I find someone he likes? Was my dad a ladies man?! Well, I guess the only thing I can do now is make my dad proud. Heh-heh.
