Mulligan Day

Its just one of those days where nothing is different, yet everything has a different vibe. Days like this can plant a bizzaro feeling inside of you. I guess everyone has their boring and lethargic days. I just didn't see this one coming. I was hoping to bust out tonight and tie one on weeknight style, but I'm to show up at work tomorrow morning about an hour earlier than usual. I feel no stress or didn't have a "bad day" per se, but nothing felt right at all. I can't explain. Has this happened to you? Hence, I take a mulligan day and declare October 1st, 2003 to have never occurred.

I finished The Bridge on the Drina today. It is a very nice chronicle of the Serbian history. No matter what happened during the Turkish rule to Austrian rule to Serbian rebellion, the bridge was always there. I never could understand why the Balkans is such a 'powder keg'. This book gives you a good idea as to why it is. What's even more strange about this is that I've actually read more books since I purchased a Gamecube than I have all year....go figure.
