I got home at what I usually consider early (which actually has been closer to the norm for the past month), sat down and looked out of my window. The city lights cast against a faintly lit sky meant that the days are "short". It's no fun getting home when its dark. Its always nice to come home before sunset. Oh well, I won't even notice this occurrence in about two weeks.
We packed our shit in the office and are headed up a floor for the time being. The genius site designers for the newly reformed corporate alliance decided to double the occupancy in our office. This means: 1) they made the lights brighter, 2) they made the carpets brighter, 3) they made the cubes lower and smaller. Gone is the privacy I enjoyed very much working in the cube. Not only that, it's busy season and work picks up around this time of year. I expect my disatisfaction with corporate America to escalate in the next few months. Yes, yes...the pieces seem to be falling into place.
