Don't Blame the Guy

The Cubs concluded their season by losing three in a row to the Florida Marlins. Many say losing the series just another day in the life of the billygoat curse as evidenced by the now-infamous fan interfered missed foul ball. The superstitious folks buy into that. The crazy fans will say the same thing because it makes it easier to blame the fan. The sad thing is that the guy is going to live with this for the rest of his life...and folks will never forgive the guy. Well, let him be because he's just another fan like us. I say the cubs lost this way: After being up three games to one, the cubs were unable to score more runs than their opponent in the three following games. Its as simple as that. So, Chicago...tip your proverbial 40 oz. to the ground for a few seconds and smile at a successful Cubs season.
