Walking by a revolving door, you usually see people step out, pause for a second, then continue on. Sometimes you see people who walk slower than the person behind them is pushing the wheel. Sometimes you see that person step out and pause while the person behind them walks right into them. I saw none of that today, but I did see a woman light her cigarette as she was coming through the door so it was lit by the time she stepped out into the open air. She didn't even give herself one breath of fresh air. Was the day so bad for her that she needed that first (and rumored to be most ecstatic of the drags) drag as soon as she left the building? Or does this count as the breath of fresh air? If you'd confront such a person with such a behavior, they'd say: "hey, I'm smoking lights." Nah...that's not the way it should go. Psychological dependencies on nicotine puzzle me sometimes.
The Japanese/Vietnamese/Thai restaurant I went to was pretty basic. They had a lot of art to pass and fish on the walls. I sampled a Vietnamese garlic dish and a Thai Curry dish. The difference between vietnamese and thai food? I have no idea...
