The allergies and my cold put together can make for a rough time. I was way short of sleep, so I armed myself with green tea, Clarinex and not a thing to eat until 10 am. As you can expect, I was pretty loopy. It made for an interesting lunch. I was okay by the time the afternoon rolled around. Now, its time for the fun colds.
This morning I cracked open one of last week's bargain book purchase. It was Banishing Bureaucracy. It took all but twenty pages to lose me. It reads like a text book and feels like a business plan. I figured the book would teach me stuff, but I felt like I was reading a book for my Management and Human Resources class. During the day, I theorized that the allergy medication probably made it seem very droll, so I tried to read more of it. Conclusion...nope....not at all attributed to the allergy medicine. The book is too dry a leisure read....Time to move on to something more literary.
Speaking of Theories. I'll try to take one from the dictionary of theories and translate (according my interpretation of the dictionary entry) it to you by appealing to the lowest common denominator...or that of one whom uses cuss words...Here's a the first theory for you as you continue your day:
Principle of creative resultants - The philosophical principle that when several elemental components are organized or co-ordinated the resulting synthesis has properties and characteristics that are fundamentally different in kind from those of the separate components viewed independently. The combination of elements into a significant whole produced emergent properties exclusive to that form.
My translation: I + S + T + H = SHIT. The word (or synthesis) has properties different from each individual letter and are exclusive to the word (or elemental components).
