The Day My Head was Pounding

Ungh, can't string together too many thoughts on this one. Sometime this afternoon my body sent a message to my brain that said: "pain" So in turn, my brain's nerves decided to go on high alert. It created the pounding sensation in my head and it made for a fun rest of the evening.

I picked up the new Al Franken Book to follow up my Michael Moore book. I was shooting to finish the Moore book tonight, but that is not the case. Searching through the bargain bin, I also picked up a book about eliminating bureaucracy and a dictionary of theories (mathematical and the such).

I'm traveling to the Bay Area this weekend and on advice from my mother, I should:

1) Stay out of the Gay district.
2) Stay out of Chinatown.

Apparently the chances of me getting robbed or kidnapped are the highest in those areas. This is my mother's biggest fear when I travel this weekend: her 5' 11" and 180+ pound son is going to get robbed or kidnapped in a city populated with gays and chinese among others (but only if he steps foot in those areas). Uh...yeah, i'll be careful about that.
