The GameCube arrived in the mail, which means my anti-social habits will be productive in the hand-eye coordination world. Well, for now. My first game is Metroid. I was always a fan of that metroid series. Especially in the first game where if you beat it enough times, or fast enough, Samus turned into a hot chick. What an ironic twist, eh? The only thing so far that I learned about the game world now is that everything works on 3D plane. I sucked at those games with my friends so this is a new learning experience for me. How valuable playing a 3D game is to my life, I'm not sure, but this will be a good way to go. Anway, the first game in any system usually has a place in my heart (besides the mario games). With NES, it was Gradus, with SNES it was Pilot Wings...and now...its Metroid Prime. Congratulation! A winner is Metroid Prime!
With the impulse spending came an impulse trip. At 7:45, tonight, I decided to run out to Best Buy to get some shit for the GameCube. The trip seemed far away and would take a while, but it only took me 80 minutes. I hauled ass while I was walking, but now I know....I can hit any big, evil chain store in the area and get back within an hour.
