I wanted to make a little change. I noticed that the original color tones projected a dark feel. I'm a bit happier these days, so I figure try to relect it. However, all I did was a color scheme change and it probably looks damn ugly. Whether or not I do a full template overhaul remains to be seen. This new, new look puts the focus back on the words. Once I have a lot of time to kill to change the fonts, this should look a-okay.
In other site design-related news, the front page greeting you should automatically load this page within seconds. That way, you don't have to waste time staring at the page before you go to the next one. I'll periodically change the front picture and/or share a different piece of wisdom. I may make a few and rotate them week to week depending on mood. Whatever I do with it should be good fun for all four of you loyal readers. Drop me any other suggestions with this design and/or the opening page. I listen to what you'll have to say, but I probably won't care.
So I was making my bed this morning. Not a big deal, eh? Well, I live alone and rarely have guests over, so what's the point? Is it a compulsive need to keep the bed presentable in case an unexpected visitor tours the realm? Is it my inner-neat-freakness showing its ugly face again? I haven't been too keen on making my bed with a cover since I graduated from twin to full....but now I am. Hmmm....guess what? I just wasted 15 seconds of your time reading that pointless rhetorical question...but you can answer it if you still care by this point...I'm over it.
The next time I do a design change like this, I should probably leave it unexplained. Its more fun to wonder what the hell I'm thinking, eh?
