So Senator Herb Kohl pulled the Bucks off the table for the time being. Seems he has had a change of heart and decided that Mr. Jordan and his co-horts would be better served looking elsewhere for their NBA investment. Herb made a gracious, yet political move. If he sells the team to the man, and the man decides that tiny-ass profit margins mean move the hell out, Kohl would be seen as the man who let basketball go. Should he run for re-election, the votes just won't be there. If your mom threw away your favorite toy when you where eight years old, I bet you wouldn't vote for her for mother of the year two day later. That's sort of what happened here...I think. Now with a new GM and an apparent change in philosophy during a change in philosophy (a fake left, go straight move, if you will), the Bucks will stay in Milwaukee. The price of that is NBA mediocrity, but I wouldn't mind that. Milwaukee needs to have two professional sports teams regardless of how bad they will be.
Double pay day today. I can fiscally close the landlord chapter and pay my rent. However today we learned that there is some free help around the office and he is going to assist in a few projects until August. August is post-merger. A convenient cut of the payroll could be afoot, but I won't worry. I'm fully prepared to land on my feet. Until then, business as usual unless told otherwise.
I haven't worked a new sound in almost 4 months. I am rusty as shit. Time to get back into what relaxes my mind.
