There's chaos in Iraq right now...and we supposed to celebrate a victory?

Interesting quote from the book i'm reading regarding America in the late 1950's: "Americans were convinced that their imperial system did not victimize foreign peoples." Network television news keeps this attitude alive.

I spent 11 hours at work today. Most of it in front of a monitor. I'm sick of starin' at you! Get out of my face.

...and yes, I do know I'm sitting in front of a monitor while I type this.
