The sun is headed north

The days are getting longer. I can see a tad bit of sunlight when I get home from work. This is what I saw when I walked into the apartment half an hour ago. Eventually, the sun will show up just left of the bell tower and creep to the right day by day. Sun in the evening means my apartment will heat up.
