Nothing Annoyed Me Today. Something Must Be in the Air.

Something nice might be coming around the bend...I mean, its was a warm summer night and I was on my roof.

Slide Guitar and a break beat? I ponder the possibility of mixing a classic blues style with a uniform, cornball beat…but I’ll probably produce something that sounds like a bad Kid Rock song. If you share the same opinion about Kid Rock’s music as many other people, then you’ll know how to feel about what this new sound could be like.

Pointless story: I forgot about this in yesterday’s post, but when I was on the bus yesterday, I passed by a lady on the sidewalk screaming something intelligible at the top of her lungs. It didn’t seem like she was calling for help, but it didn’t seem like she was yelling at anyone. Everybody ignored her, even those who walked right by her. In a big city like this, I guess people tune out things like that. On the street, it seems like an unwritten code that you don’t really need to interact with anybody unless they stop you in your tracks. I guess when a lady is screaming at no one in particular, nobody needs to interact with her. I probably wouldn’t. In a small town, the cops would show up. Its all relative.

Mmmm…I’ve come to realize that, one of these days, I’ll have to eat some of these words. They’ll taste damn good, I think. Toss some garlic and salt on that, and I’ve got myself an alphabet steak. That’s going to be some ‘A1’ eatin’….heh-heh.

The prospect of being out for the next three nights, forced me to pass up bowling and stay in. Rest is good and I’m not getting bored. Keeping busy and saving money is a good thing.
