Wednesday Night Special: What really annoys me
Earlier this evening, I was at a grocery store. I happen to notice a lot of people using their cell phones while they were shopping. Now, bear with me here... I have a cell phone myself, but I treat it as one would treat a phone attached to the wall. If appropriate, I'll drop whatever I'm doing to answer the phone, but I won't walk around the house talking on the phone while I pour my cereal, or while I'm putting on my pants, or while I try to screw a lightbulb.
Why do people feel the need to be constantly talking to someone via telephone no matter what they're doing?
Is my thinking that art of conversation is killed by this behavior wrong?

I was talking to my sister-in-law on the way home from the store about how pathetically dateless I've been. I guess just being myself isn't good enough. She made suggestions as to how I could remedy the situation. Bars (been there, my game sucks), bookstores (how is that done?), coffee shop (probably), shows (probably), church (church is for church), work (no), through friends (likely) and the Internet (what?). Now, I admit having tried on the internet, but its just too creepy. Well, that and the fact that I get almost zero feedback bothways. Meeting through mutual friends seems the way to go...hmmmm...let's see here...I might be on to something...

New Sound coming soon.
